In some ways it confirmed things I already thought, but I think the things it confirmed were fairly empathetic views, which I can\’t see as a bad thing. The themes explored include fame, the way we tend to pay attention to the people who scream the loudest, how dangerous fear can be, and giant space men, and are so so relevant and clearly told by someone with an inside perspective. ( KNOCK KNOCK WHERE IS MY SEQUEL) April was a complex character that I sympathized with and disagreed with in almost equal measure. I read it all the way through today and was enthralled the whole time. For the moment, fans of Hank Green and An Absolutely Remarkable Thing will simply have to patiently wait. Less thankfully, he has not announced any significant information about that sequel. I like Hank, I wanted it to be good, but I remain skeptical of books by youtubers. Thankfully, Hank Green has announced plans for a sequel. ![]()
